What We Do

Since 2000 we have published projects tailored for small groups and individuals.
Focus on your story.
We handle editing and design.
As a hybrid press, we combine the care and collaboration of traditional publishing with the flexibility and author ownership of independent publishing. Whether you're writing for family, for a broader audience, or simply for the joy of reflection, we offer thoughtful editorial guidance and tailored support throughout the writing and publishing process.
At Post Rock Press, we understand and value the effort and commitment required to share personal stories. Your work will have personalized attention and care. We are dedicated to upholding the authenticity of each narrative, preserving the author's unique voice. Our commitment extends to ensuring the ethical treatment of our clients throughout the entire publishing process.
In 2000, Charlotte Anderson Crawford, a Kansas native, founded CrawforDesigns to facilitate desktop publication for chapbooks, newsletters, and visual displays. Post Rock Press evolved from CrawforDesigns, with a focus on providing nonprofit organizations with affordable and high-quality services. The business also engaged in book editing, emphasizing a dedication to capturing the historical narratives of individuals.
